How do I cancel my unit?

Log in to your account, go to "Manage Leases", and choose "End Lease" or email us contact@packandpay.com

  • If canceled between the 1st–15th: ends the current month.
  • If canceled between the 16th–end: ends the following month.
  • ❗️Cancellations cannot be made over the phone.

What’s the procedure for moving out?

  • Remove all items from your unit by 6:00 PM on the last day of the month.
  • Sweep the unit clean so it’s ready for the next renter.
  • Take a photo of the empty unit showing:
    • The unit number
    • That the unit is completely empty
  • Close the unit door and slide the latch shut.
  • Tuck the pull-down rope inside the unit (not hanging out).

How do I schedule a rental unit for a future move-in?

All units are rented on a first-come, first-served basis. Join our waiting list to be contacted when a unit becomes available.

Are yearly leases required?

No. Leases are month-to-month. The minimum period includes the rest of the current month and the following month.

What does month-to-month mean?

Your lease automatically renews unless you provide notice by the 15th of the month to avoid charges for the next month.

Do I have to rent a unit online?

No. You can call our office 608.406.4278 opt 2

Can I live in my unit?

No. Living in storage units is strictly prohibited.

Are the units climate controlled?

No.

Do the units have power outlets?

Yes some of our larger units have lights, power outlet and a powered garage door.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We only accept credit/debit card payments online or over the phone.

What if my unit is broken into?

Please call the police and notify us.

Does Pack N Pay insure my stored belongings?

No. Storage is at your own risk. Please secure additional coverage through your insurance provider.

How do I report a repair issue?

Please email or call us, pictures help.

What kind of lock should I use?

Use a high-security disc lock. Avoid standard padlocks, which can be cut with bolt cutters.

When is rent due?

Rent is due on the 1st. A $20 late fee applies after the 10th.

What are your business hours?

We do not keep standard office hours.  You may call anytime. If we miss your call, please leave a voicemail.
